Donations

Thank you so much for your interest in donating to the running of Genealysis.social – I appreciate it.

My aim is to cover my running costs each month, which at the moment are low. However, as the server grows in popularity I will increase server capacity; which adds to the bill.

I am only interested in covering these costs, if possible. I do not wish anything for myself. I do this for the fun and the community. Maybe that would change in the future if I was supporting thousands of users! I think that is a long way off.

How much to donate?

I understand we all have a variety of challenges with our finances. There is no obligation to donate.

If you do wish to make a donation, I leave the value to you. Every little helps. I would ask that you do not donate less than £3 as I have a payment processing fee to incur.

How to donate

Many other sites seeking donations use Ko-fi – the concept being ‘buy me a coffee’.

You can also donate via PayPal.

You can make a one-off donation, of any value, or set a monthly donation too. The minimum value is set to £3 as I am charged a fee per transaction for card payments. (around £0.50)
